SANDS Townsville/Thuringowa runs regular morning teas.
Contact with other parents who have had similar experiences allows parents to learn that the intensiy and duration of their grief is normal. It also gives parents an outlet for their grief and allows them to build their confidence with a network of support, understanding, encouragement and friendship.
The morning teas have a very relaxed atmosphere and children are welcome.
