SANDS Townsville provides monthly support meetings. The meetings offer a warm and accepting environment without expectation. The parents who attend these meetings realize that attending for the first time is often daunting: after all, they also remember their first meetings. However, these meetings are a casual gathering of parents, families and friends who are welcome to share their own experiences. Some come to listen whilst others to share their journey.
